Papers: ATHE 2016 in Chicago

If you're in Chicago for the annual ATHE Conference, please join me at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel as I present two papers: the first, "Laboring for the King: Moliere’s The Impromptu of Versailles," will be part of the Theater and Criticism Focus Group's "Dis/Embodied Capital Roundtable Series: Performing Bodies as Capital—Subjectivity, Agency, and the Gaze" (Saturday August 13, Salon 1, 8:15-9:45 am); the second, "Theatre’s Labor’s Lost: The Censorship of Ethiopia under the Federal Theatre Project" will be presented within the panel organized by the Performance Studies Focus Group "(Un)funded Performance: Negotiating Theatre and Dance Employment in Periods of Economic Crisis" (Sunday August 14, Salon 1, 9:45-11:15 am). The full conference program is available here.
